Painted Poppy to Remember

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a card using the beautiful Painted Poppies in honour of International Armistice Day to remember those brave people who died and also to remember my late Father in Law whose birthday it would have been today.

Materials

1 piece of thick whisper white card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of basic black card stock 4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of poppy parade card stock 3 5/8" x 5 1/2"
1 piece of whisper white card stock 3 1/4" x 5"
Painted Poppies stamp set
Comfort and Hope stamp set
Memento black ink
Poppy parade Stampin Blends
Old Olive Stampin Blends
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder

Instructions

Score the thick whisper white on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the black layer and then the poppy parade layer leaving an equal border all the way around the edges.

Stamp the single poppy in the lower left corner of the whisper white layer and colour in with the Stampin Blends. Stamp the sentiment towards the top to the right.

Quick and effective card, I hope that you will give it a try.
