Wedding Congratulations Card - Crafty Collaborations Sketch Challenge Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

The Crafty Collaborations team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects including blog hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's card is a sketch challenge, I just love these for using up scraps and getting your crafty mojo going. Today I have used the beautiful Love You Always dsp and foil sheets as it is retiring so I am using up my last few pieces but this design would work just as well with any dsp. This is the sketch challenge that we all followed.

Materials

1 piece of petal pink card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
2 pieces of basic white card  3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
2 pieces of dsp 2" square
1 piece of foil 2" square
Scraps to cut the hearts
Give it a Whirl dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Vine Designs stamp set
Snail Mail combo twine pack
Gray Granite ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side score the petal pink card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Die cut the hearts.

Stamp the sentiment in the bottom left corner of the basic white mat layer.

Arrange the dsp and foil squares on the basic white and adhere in place, I have added the top one with dimensionals. Arrange the hearts and add with dimensionals.

Wrap the twine around the mat layer three times and secure on the back with some sticky tape then adhere this mat layer to the card front.

Adhere the remaining white mat to the inside of the card to write your message, I have also added more die cut hearts.

Colour & Contour Thank You - Winners Blog Hop - Kylie's International Gallery

 Hi Everyone,

I am so excited today to be taking part in the June Winner's Blog Hop for the Kylie Bertucci International Gallery. Thank you so much to those of you who voted for me, I really appreciate your support.  I've used the 2020-2022 In Colours and the Colour and Contour and Biggest Wish stamp sets for my card, I hope that you will like it. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of misty moonlight card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 3 5/8" x 5 3/8" and scraps for stamping
1 piece of 2020-2022 In Colour  dsp stack in misty moonlight 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 1/2" x 5 5/8"
Misty moonlight ink
Bumblebee ink
Just jade ink
Magenta madness ink
Memento Black ink
Blender Pens
Color & Contour stamp set
Scalloped Contour dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Biggest Wish stamp set
Stamperatus
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the misty moonlight card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the dsp layer to the card front.

Put the smaller piece of basic white on the Stamperatus and add the uninked stamp in the position that you want it to stamp and then pick it up with the plate. Ink it up in the bumblebee and stamp, then move the plate down and stamp again and repeat until you have filled up the white card, changing the colour each time. I've used bumblebee twice as I don't have cinnamon cider (I don't like it but don't tell anyone haha).

Stamp 5 of the flower outlines on the scrap of basic white and then colour them with the blender pen (just dip the pen in the ink pad to pick up the ink) or you can stamp over them with the stamp if you prefer. I wanted to colour them for a more defined image.

Die cut the 5 images and then adhere them to the stamped white card alongside their corresponding coloured 'thanks'.  Stamp another sentiment in misty moonlight on the remaining piece of white card and add the strip of dsp to the right hand edge and then adhere inside the card. Adhere the the decorated piece to the card front and the card is complete.

Expressions in Ink Notebook - Share it on a Sunday

Hi Everyone,

This week for Share it on a Sunday, we are making covered notebooks and I have chosen a larger one to sit on my desk and used the gorgeous Expressions in Ink designer series paper. Let me show you how I made it, you can also check out the YouTube Tutorial, just click on the link below:

Click here for the video tutorial

Materials

1 piece of A4 cardstock (shaded spruce), 1 piece 2" x 5"
1 piece of gold foil 5" x 8 1/8"
1 piece of dsp 4 7/8" x 8"
1 notebook 5" x 8"
1 pen
Scraps of gold foil for the leaves and the sentiment and a scrap of basic white
Shaded Spruce ink
Biggest Wish stamp set
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Paper snips
Redline tape/tear tape
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Forever Flourishing dies

Instructions

On the long side, score the shaded spruce (A4) at 5 5/8", 6 1/8" and 6 5/8" and fold and burnish the score lines. Score the small piece on the short side at 1 1/8" and 1 3/8" and fold and burnish.

Fold the large piece on the  middle fold line and about 1 1/2" down from the top, snip from the fold to the score line and repeat at 2", this is the holder for the pen.

Open out and with the cut out for the pen at the top end, add redline tape or tear tape in between the middle and right hand score line above and below the pen slot, remove the backing and fold shut and push the pen holder outwards (see picture).

Add redline tape to the back of the smaller piece of card stock and fold around the top of the notepad to cover the existing binding. If your pad doesn't have this, you can leave this bit out.

Then add tape to the back of the notepad and stick the notepad inside the folder.

Die cut the leaves and sentiment mat from the centre of the gold foil if you can (I didn't want to waste all the central piece that wouldn't be seen) and cut the basic white scrap with the smallest rectangle for your sentiment.

Add the gold foil to the front and then add the dsp layer on top.  Stamp a sentiment on the white mat and layer it up on the gold and add to the card front on dimensionals. Tuck the leaves in and around the sentiment and adhere in place.

Add the pen to the holder on the side and it's finished. Don't forget to pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made this week too.
