Hand-Penned Tower Fold Thank You Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am taking part in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop and then theme is 'Fun Folds'. I have made a Tower Fold card using the gorgeous Hand-Penned designer series papers and the Scalloped Contour dies which are very pretty. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of highland heather card stock 7" x 10"
2 pieces of basic white 1" x 6 7/8", 2 pieces 2 3/8" x 1 7/8", 1 piece 2 1/4" x 6 7/8"
2 pieces of dsp 7/8" x 6 3/4", 2 pieces 2 1/4" x 1 3/4"
Scraps of basic white and dsp to cut out the two largest scalloped contour dies and the smallest one as well as two bows from Pierced Blooms
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Scalloped Contour dies
Pierced Bloom dies
Hand Penned Petals stamp set
Trimmer
Simply scored
Paper snips
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Basic rhinestones
Highland heather ink

Instructions

On the long side score the highland heather card at 1 1/4" and 2 1/2", then turn and score the same from the other side.

Then place a ruler across the card at the 2" mark and score at 3 3/4" and 6 1/4" down to the 2" mark, flip and repeat at the other side.

Fold and burnish the full score lines, the first is a valley and the second is a mountain, from both sides.

Fold the card on the second score line and put this fold to the top of the scoreboard and score at 1/2", 1", 1 1/2" and 2", then 5", 5 1/2", 6" and 6 1/2" down to the first score line.  Flip the card 180 degrees and repeat along the other edge. (see below, this is how it will look when cut).

Now cut those score lines that you have just made up to the horizontal score line, take your time so that you get them straight and exact.

Open up the card and push the the 2nd and 4th strips to the back at each side and fold and burnish the score lines.

Adhere the dsp layers to the basic white mats and fix in place on the card along with the white layer for the back of the card where you can write your message.

Die cut the largest and the smallest Scalloped Contour die in white card and the second largest in dsp.  Die cut two bows from the Pierced Bloom dies in white.

Stamp a sentiment on the smallest rectangle.

Adhere the dsp rectangle to the centre of the white one and then add the sentiment in the centre and fix to the large centre panel of the card using dimensionals.  Fix a bow above and below the centre panels.

Add some rhinestones to the bows and the sentiment and the card is finished.
