Hi Everyone,
Today's card was inspired by a Mystery Stamping session over on TX Stampin Sharon's YouTube channel. It's a fun event and she gives you a list of items to use but doesn't specify colours or dsp or stamp sets etc, all of that is up to you. People can craft along, collecting clues to the layout along the way but everyone will make something different, check it out, it's good fun and very inspirational. Let me show you what I made:
Materials
1 piece of misty moonlight card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 2 1/2" square and a scrap for the sentiment mat
1 piece of night of navy card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of whisper white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 2 1/4" square and scraps for the sentiment and the daisies
1 piece of Flowers for Every Season dsp 3 3/4" x 5"
A piece of silver edged ribbon for the bow
Embellishment for the centre of the flower (the one I have used is retired)
Daisy Delight stamp set
Medium Daisy Punch
Night of Navy ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Wrapped in Texture embossing folders
Mini glue dots
Instructions
Score the misty moonlight card at 4 1/8" on the long side and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Adhere the night of navy mat to the card front leaving a border all around the edges.
Add the dsp layer to the night of navy, I have placed mine towards the top leaving a larger gap at the bottom.
Emboss the 2 1/4" piece of whisper white and then adhere it to the 2 1/2" square of misty moonlight. Add to the top centre of the card front using dimensionals.
Stamp two daisies on the scrap of whisper white with the night of navy ink and punch out. Glue them together, offsetting the petals to make a fuller flower. Curl the edges of the petals with the bone folder and then add to the centre of the embossed square using dimensionals. Add the embellishment to the centre of the flower.
Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of whisper white and then cut it down to fit on the card front. add it to the scrap of misty moonlight and cut around it leaving a small border. Add this to the centre bottom of the card, overlapping the dsp layer.
Make a bow with the ribbon and add to the card front in between the daisy layer and the sentiment.
Stamp a sentiment and decorate the whisper white layer for the inside of the card, I've added some daisies. Adhere to the inside of the card.
There you are, another simple card, I hope that you like it and don't forget to check out Sharon's channel.
