Ornate Thanks Card - Colour Combo Blog Hop

 Hi Everybody,

Today I am taking part in the Colour Combo Blog Hop for November, the colours are: Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Rococco Rose. Let me show you what I did:

1 piece of rococco rose card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of rococco rose dsp (In colour dsp 2019-2021) 4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of whisper white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and 1 piece 3 5/8" x 5 1/4" and a scrap for the sentiment
Rococco rose ink
Daffodil delight ink
Coastal cabana ink
Ornate Thanks stamp set
Gorgeous posies stamp set
Lovely you stamp set
Daffodil delight ruched ribbon
Multipurpose adhesive

Score the rococco rose card stock on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the dsp layer to the card front leaving a small border all the way around the outside.

Stamp your design - I have stamped the large flowers from Gorgeous Posies in rococco rose 1st and 2nd generation to give different tones.  I then tucked in small flowers in daffodil delight and leaves and flowers in coastal cabana all around them until I was happy with the designs.

Add the ribbon around the middle of the stamped card and fix on the back, then adhere the whole thing to the card front leaving a border all around the edges.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of whisper white and die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies (my favourites) and add to the card front with dimensionals over the ribbon.

Stamp a sentiment on the other piece of whisper white using coastal cabana ink and adhere to the inside of the card.

I hope that you like my card and will give it a try - stamping your own design is great fun.
