Golden Honey Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a card with the beautiful Golden Honey designer series paper which is FREE with Saleabration (while stocks last) until 31st March 2020.  I love monochrome designs and I have just stepped this up with some gold foil and some daffodil delight ruched ribbon for a pop of colour.  This is Project No 22 in the #31dayscraftchallenge that I am taking part in.

Materials

1 piece of whisper white 6" x 12" folded in  half to make a card base

1 piece of gold foil 5 5/8" square

1 piece of black designer series paper 5" square

1 piece of co ordinating dsp 2 1/2" x 5"

Scraps of gold and whisper white for the sentiment layers

Piece of daffodil delight ruched ribbon to go around the mats and to make a bow

Black Memento ink

Little Ladybug stamp set

Stitched nested label dies

Die cutting machine

Multipurpose adhesive

Dimensionals

Glue dots

Instructions

Fold and burnish the card base. and stamp a sentiment on the inside.

Adhere the gold foil layer to the card base leaving a border all around the outside. 

Then layer the bee dsp on top of the black honeycomb paper at the bottom. Wrap the ribbon around the join in the two papers and secure on the back with tape and then adhere that to the centre of the gold foil layer.

Die cut two nested labels, the same size, one in whisper white and one in gold foil.  Stamp a sentiment on the white one and layer on top of the gold foil with dimensional.  Arrange this in the centre of the card over the top of the ribbon with more dimensionals.

Make a bow and add to the side of the card with a glue dot.

I think that the daffodil delight ribbon really makes this card pop.
