Birthday Bonanza Tag Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a card suitable for a child with the fabulous Birthday Bonanza Suite, I love it, its so bright and cheerful.  I hope that you like it. Project No 8 in the #31dayscraftchallenge

Materials

1 piece of daffodil delight card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of whisper white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" for the inside
Scraps of whisper white and bermuda bay card stock for the tag, sentiment and the stamping
Scraps of coloured card stock for the balloons
Small piece of daffodil delight ruched ribbon
Bonanza Buddies stamp set
Bonanza dies
Die cutting machine
2" circle punch
1 3/4" scalloped punch (retired)
1/2" circle punch
Black, Gray Granite, Daffodil delight, Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay inks
Glue dot
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Fold and burnish the daffodil delight card stock in half to make a card base and adhere the dsp to the front leaving a small border all around the edge.

Stamp a sentiment and I've also stamped a koala on the whisper white layer for the inside, then adhere that in place. Stamp the sentiment for the front on a scrap of whisper white and punch out with the scalloped punch, then adhere this to a 2" circle punched out of the bermuda bay card scrap.

Stamp a koala and a lion on a scrap of whisper white making sure that you leave enough space in between them to die cut them. Stamp the lion in separate pieces to die cut him and then layer him up to make the whole lion. (the head, the body, the tail and the mane are all separate pieces.) Die cut a tag from the bermuda bay and add the piece of daffodil delight ribbon.

Stamp the balloon strings on the tag and arrange the animals so that they look like they are holding the strings. Punch out some 1/2" circles in scraps to make the balloon (these can also be die cut but punching them out is quicker for me).

Arrange the tag and the sentiment on the card front and the card is complete, I think any child would be delighted to receive it.
