Silver & Gold 6 x 6 Mini Treat Bag

 Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I would make a cute little treat bag using one of the Saleabration offerings - Silver & Gold 6 x 6 dsp, it will be great for gifts bags and boxes and as background papers for your Christmas cards so make sure that you get some while you can.

It's a very quick and easy make, let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of 6 x 6 dsp
Scraps of basic white and gold foil
Baker's Twine
Matching ink
Shaded Summer stamp set
Hole punch
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Score the dsp carefully, don't press too hard, it's only paper, score on one side at 1 1/2" and 4 1/2" then turn and score at 2 1/4" and 3 3/4".

Fold and burnish to score lines carefully.

Cut up the score lines as shown in the picture.

The middle section is the bottom of the box, add adhesive to the inside of the small centre tabs then fold round the back one, bring in the middle one with adhesive and then add adhesive to the inside of the front one and fold back. This encases the smaller tab so it can't be seen on the inside. Do this on both sides.

Punch two small holes in the centre at the top to thread the twine through.  Use two lengths of twine to make a double bow.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and punch out with the small oval punch, punch a matching one in gold foil and punch a hole in both of them.  Thread them on to the twine and finish tying the bow.

These little bags are great for any occasion and using any dsp, use up your scraps.

Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too.
