Lovely in Linen Thank You Card - Fun Fold Friday

 Hi Everyone,

This week I have made a thank you card for Fun Fold Friday. I'm not really sure what this fold is called, it's like a flip front but sideways (if anyone knows, please let me know). I'm really enjoying these Fun Fold Fridays and I hope that you are too. Fun folds are my very favourite and there are loads in the archives if you are interested. I've used pale papaya and the Lovely in Linen dsp with the Sending Smiles and Hand Penned Petals stamp sets.

Materials

1 piece of thick white card 4 1/8" x 5 7/8", 1 piece 8 1/4" x 2 3/4"
1 piece of pale papaya card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 2 pieces 3 7/8" x 2 1/2"
1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
1 piece of basic white card 2" x 3 1/4"
Old Olive ink
Pale Papaya ink
So Saffron ink
Hand Penned Petals stamp set
Sending Smiles stamp set
Scalloped Contour dies
Old Olive ribbon
Basic Rhinestones
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Take Your Pick Tool
Multipurpose Adhesive
Dimensionals
Quatrofoil Tile Embossing Folder
Mini Glue Dots

Instructions

On the long side score the white card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the small card.

Add the mat and dsp layers to the 4 1/8" x 5 7/8" piece of thick white card.

Stamp on the inside of the smaller card if required and then adhere this to the card front so that it is level with the bottom and both sides of the matted piece (see picture).

Run one of the pieces of pale papaya through the machine in the embossing folder and cut out the scalloped rectangle with the other (third size from smallest). Cut the next size smaller in the basic white.

Adhere the embossed layer to the front of the small card.

Stamp a flower on the white rectangle and add the sentiment above (see picture). Adhere this layer to the pale papaya layer and then add to the card front using dimensionals just on the bottom half.

Tie a small bow in the old olive ribbon and add to the bottom of the flower stem, add a couple of rhinestones too and the card is complete.
