Instructions

CARD

On the long side score the card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the dsp to the card front and the strip of dsp to the basic white for the inside of the card.

Run the card mat through the machine in any embossing folder and then wrap some bakers twine around it three times and tie in a knot. Add to the card front using dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and then run through the machine using the smallest scalloped rectangle and add to the card front using dimensionals. Stamp on the white layer for the inside and then add to the inside of the card.

BOX

On the long side, score at 1/2" and 1" at both sides.  Turn to the short side and score at 1/2", 3 1/2", 4" and 7".  Fold and burnish all the score lines.

Cut as the template in the picture.

Add tear and tape to the outside of the long skinny tab, remove the backing paper and bring the other side over to seal the side of the box.

Fold in the tabs on the bottom and then add tear and tape to the underneath of the top longer flap and fold over the back one and seal the bottom of the box.

Adhere the dsp to the front and back of the box.

Run the mat layer through the machine using any embossing folder and then wrap some bakers twine around 3 times and tie in a knot to match what you did on the card.  Add to the front of the box using dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of white and then die cut with the smallest rectangle and add to the front of the box.

There you go, a quick and easy gift box and matching card for father's Day.
