Fun Fold Friday #26 - Peony Garden Accordion Fold Card

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Fun Fold Friday and this week it's an Accordion Fold card using the beautiful Peony Garden dsp and the Monogram Messages stamp set.  There is also a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, click on the link below:

Materials

1 piece of Basic Grey card stock 6" x full length of A4 (approx 11 3/4")
1 piece of Basic Grey card stock 6" x 11"
1 piece of Whisper White card stock 3 1/4" x 5 3/4" and 1 piece 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
1 piece of dsp 3 3/4" x 5 3/4", 1 piece 3 1/4" x 5 3/4", 2 pieces 2 3/4" x 5 3/4", 2 pieces 2 1/4" x 5 3/4"
Scrap of silver foil 3" x 4"
Monogram Messages stamp set
Petal Pink ink
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Die Cutting machine
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

Put the longest piece of card stock onto the simply scored and score at 3/4", 4 1/4" and 7 3/4".

Put the other piece in and score at 2 1/2", 5" and 8".

Fold and burnish all the score lines.

Attach the two pieces of card stock together with the 3/4" tab on the underneath and the smallest folds to the front and the larger ones to the back.  Refold the score lines to make sure that they now fall into the accordion fold.

I used Peony Garden dsp and wanted to alternate the petal pink and the grey on the pieces that show, but you can use whatever combination you want.  Adhere all the dsp layers down and the piece of whisper white for the message (put this on the 2nd section from the back).

Die cut the sentiment layers using the Stitched So Sweetly dies, I used the 2nd and 3rd largest.

Stamp the sentiment on the whisper white rectangle using the petal pink ink and the Monogram Messages stamp set and adhere the two layers together.  Add this to the card front with dimensionals making sure to only put them on one half of the rectangle.

There you are, another simple fun fold card, I hope that you like it and will give it a try.
