Stamp Around the UK - Showcase the In Colours

Hi Everyone,

Today I am taking part in a video Hop with Stamp Around UK with some of my crafty colleagues. The theme was  ‘Showcase the In-Colours’ and I chose to make my own designer series paper to make some Thank You cards for my Customers. Click on the link below to watch the video tutorial and get the links for the other projects, pop on over and give my colleagues some support too. Thank you

Materials

1 A4 sheet of Whisper White card stock
Magenta Madness ink
Just Jade ink
Bumblebee ink
Misty Moonlight ink
Lovely You stamp set
Monogram Messages stamp set
4 card bases 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" (I've used bumblebee, magenta madness and cinnamon cider)
Scraps of the card base colours to make the sentiment mats
Scraps of whisper white for the sentiment layers
4 pieces of whisper white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" for the inside of the cards
Trimmer
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Stitched so Sweetly dies
Die Cutting machine

Instructions

I started with the largest flower stamp and stamped all over the sheet in magenta madness, remember to twist and turn the block so that the image faces different directions and the pattern is not symmetrical.

Then I stamped the smaller flower image using bumblebee.

Then added in the larger leaf flourish using just jade, remember to stamp off the page too to make it look more realistic.

I then filled in with the longer leaf image in misty moonlight.

I used the small elements from Monogram Messages to fill in the spaces around the images with all four of the colours.  I haven't used cinnamon cider ink because I don't have it.

When you are happy with the design, cut the sheet into 4 pieces of 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" to use as mats on the front of the cards.  There will be 1/2" strips left over that you can add to the inside of the card too.

Score the coloured card stock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card bases.

Add one of the stamped pieces to the front of each of the four cards.

Add the strips to the side or bottom edges of the inside whisper white layers and then adhere them to the inside of the card.

Die cut 4 of the smaller labels from whisper white and 4 of the larger ones from coloured card stock.

Stamp the sentiment on each of the whisper white labels in different colours and then add them to the coloured larger labels.  Add to the front of the card using dimensionals.

If you have mis-stamped any of the images, add the sentiment layers over the top of them to hide them or add some rhinestones or ribbon.

There you are 4 quick and unique cards, these I am sending to my customers as Thank You cards for shopping with me this month.
