Welcome to Fun Fold Friday and this week I have a Diamond Pop Up Card for you. It's really easy and looks great, let me show you how to make it. My inspiration for this card came from Mixed Up Crafts. There is a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, click on the link below:

Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Scissors
Ruler
Pencil
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive
Instructions
On the 12" side of the card stock score at 3", flip the card over and score at 6", fold and burnish the score lines.
With the ruler make a mark on the 6" score line at the half way point (3"), then make a mark at 3" on the other three sides of this square. With a ruler, score between the top of the 3" fold and the middle of the bottom edge of the square, the line will go through the mark you made on the 6" scoreline. Score from the bottom of the 3" fold to the middle point on the top edge of the square again going through the mark on the 6" fold. Then score from the top middle to the side middle and the bottom middle to the side middle to complete the diamond shape (see templete).
Remove the two diagonal sections as shown in the template and then burnish the diagonal score lines. Turn the card to face you and push in the sides so that the card folds and you end up with a diamond on the top, burnish these folds well.
Add adhesive to the underside of the first triangle and then fold that down so that it adheres to the bottom of the card (see the picture), this is the pop up mechanism.
Add the whisper white layer to the back of the diamond so that you can write your message.
Stamp the flowers using a different colour for each one and two sets of leaves, then die cut them all out.
Emboss the 2 3/4" square piece of card with the hammered embossing folder and cut in half on the diagonal. Adhere these two triangles to the base of the card on either side of the pop up section.
Adhere the 4" square of card to the dsp layer and then add the whisper white layer on top leaving a small border all round on all layers. Put the square flat on your table in a diamond shape and arrange the die cut flowers and adhere to the whisper white using adhesive and dimensionals to give some depth.
Stamp a sentiment on the scrap of whisper white and adhere to the strip of highland heather, arrange on the card front using dimensionals so that it covers the bottom of the flower stems.
There you are a very pretty pop up card and it's really easy to make.
