Share it on a Sunday - Hearts and Flowers

Hi Everyone,

For this week's Share it on a Sunday, Donna chose a 'Romance - Hearts and Flowers' theme so I have made a card which could be used for an Anniversary Celebration. Let me show you how I made it.  Check out the links to Donna and Victoria's projects below to see what they have made this week.

Materials

1 piece of thick whisper white card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of gold foil 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 3/8" (I have used Ornate Garden)
Scraps of gold foil and whisper white for the hearts and the sentiments
Gold embossing powder
Versamark ink
Heat Tool
Heart to Heart stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Lovely Label Pick a Punch
Heart punch
Paper snips

Instructions

Score the thick whisper white at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Using Versamark ink, stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card and on the scraps of whisper white using the Heart to Heart stamp set.  Sprinkle with gold embossing powder, shake off the excess and set with the heat tool.

Trim around the 'Heart to Heart' sentiment with a pair of paper snips. Trim the longer sentiment to 3/4" x approx 4" and punch both ends with the lovely labels pick a punch.  Then punch a slightly longer strip of  3/4" wide gold foil so that ends just show when the the whisper white layer is on top.

Punch out two hearts from the scraps of gold foil.

Adhere the dsp layer to the gold foil mat and then adhere them both to the card front.

Add the two hearts, one with glue and then layer the other one on top using dimensionals.  Add the small sentiment strip across the two hearts with a dimensional on one end to that it is level with the hearts. Add the main banner with dimensionals to the bottom right of the card front.
