Fun Fold Friday #24 - Tucked Z Fold Aperture Card Using Flowers for Every Season

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Fun Fold Friday and this week I have made a Tucked Aperture Z Fold card and my inspiration came from Connie Stewart (US Demonstrator).

There is a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, just click the link below:

Materials

1 piece of Bumblebee card stock 10" x 6"
1 piece of whisper white card stock 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" and 1 piece 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
1 piece of designer series paper 3 1/2" x 4 1/2"
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Die cutting machine
Lovely You stamp set
Bumblebee ink
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Score the coloured card stock at 5" on the long side, fold and burnish.

Score the whisper white card at 2" and 4", fold and burnish.

Take the largest of the stitched rectangles and lay it in the centre of the card front and die cut to make the aperture.

Using the same sized die, die cut a rectangle from the designer series paper.

Then die cut a small rectangle from the  2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of whisper white for the sentiment layer.

Adhere the larger section of the whisper white to the inside of the card with the folds to the right hand side.  Stamp a sentiment on this layer if required.

Close up the card and lay the designer series paper rectangle inside the aperture on the front of the card, it should fit perfectly.  Add adhesive to the left hand side of the dsp and fit it back inside the aperture so that the glue attaches to the z fold underneath.  When you open the card, the dsp layer will be stick to the z fold and open out, see picture.

Stamp on the whisper white rectangle and add to the centre of the dsp layer using dimensionals.

Another quick and easy fun fold card, I hope that you like it and will give it a try.
