Today I am taking part in the InspireINK Challenge and this month it is to use the 2020-2022 new In-Colours, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight. I decided to make a set of cards using each of the colours and I've used the Tasteful Touches stamp set. Let me show you how I made them.
Materials
5 pieces of thick Whisper White card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
5 pieces of 2020-2022 In Colour dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" (1 in each of the colours)
5 pieces of card stock 3" x 4 1/2" (1 in each of the colours)
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Tasteful Touches stamp set
Versamark ink
White embossing powder
Heat tool
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Die Cutting machine
Ribbon to make a small bow for each of the cards
Instructions
Score the thick whisper white card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Adhere the dsp to the front of the card, I have used several of the patterns, there are four to choose from).
Die cut the largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle dies in each of the colours.
Stamp the sentiment and the flower in Versamark ink on these rectangles and then sprinkle with white embossing powder. Shake off the excess and set with the heat tool.
Fix the rectangle to the centre of the card front using dimensionals and then add a little bow to the bottom right hand corner.
There you are a quick set of cards that you could give as a gift, add them to one of the Stampin' Up! acetate boxes and tie a ribbon round it, makes a pretty and useful gift.
Now hop over to the next blog and work your way around to see what everyone has made.
Thanks.
Happy crafting,
