Hi Everyone,
Today I needed a quick thank you card for a friend who loves butterflies so I thought I would make a card following the Colour INKspiration #ci104 challenge which was Black, White and Cherry Cobbler. I've used the Butterfly Brilliance stamp and Pansy Patch stamp sets.
Materials
1 piece of cherry cobbler card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
2 pieces of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Butterfly Brilliance stamp set
Pansy Patch stamp set
Cherry cobbler ink
Memento black ink
Matt black dots
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Instructions
On the long side, score the cherry cobbler card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Randomly stamp all over one of the pieces of basic white card (this stamp set is one large stamp but I have cut apart the images on mine to be able to use all of the different butterflies individually). I have used just one of the larger images for my design.
Stamp a sentiment in between the images using memento black ink. Stamp another sentiment on the remaining piece of basic white and add some small butterflies in cherry cobbler.
Adhere both of these pieces to the card base and add some matt black dots to the butterflies.
This is a really simple card which could be used if you need to produce a lot of cards quickly, you could change up the colours on each one or have each butterfly a different colour.
I do hope that you like my card and will give it a try.
