Beautifully Penned - Z Fold - Accordion - Fun Fold Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a fun fold which is new to me, I was inspired by the lovely Mary (Stamps'N'Lingers) on YouTube, a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from USA. I am using FREE dsp from the Saleabration Catalogue called Beautifully Penned which co-ordinates with the Hand-Penned suite of products. It's monochrome paper so I have added a pop of polished pink too.  Click on the link below for the Video Tutorial over on my YouTube channel.

Materials

1 piece of basic black card stock 5 7/8" x 9 3/4", 1 piece 3" x 4 1/2", scrap for the sentiment
4 pieces of polished pink card 1 1/8" x 5 5/8", 2 pieces 2 3/4" x 2", 1 piece 4" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 1/2", scrap for the sentiment
4 pieces of dsp 1" x 5 1/2", 2 pieces 2 5/8" x 1 7/8"
Polished pink ink
Pansy Patch stamp set
2021-2023 in colour jewels
Small piece of polished pink ribbon
Hand-Penned Petals stamp set
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini glue dots
Paper snips

Instructions

On the long side, score the black card at 1 3/8", 2 3/4", 4 1/8" and 5 1/2", score the smaller one at 2 1/4", fold and burnish to make the card bases. Fold from the centre, valley, mountain, valley, mountain to give you the accordion panels.

Add all the dsp layers to the pink card layers.

Stamp a portion of the flower from Hand Penned on the bottom right of the large white card with the polished pink and then adhere this to the remaining pink card stock.

Adhere all the panels in place on the card, making sure that the top and bottom levels are level.

Stamp a sentiment on the white panel inside the card, over to the left and in the centre so that it will be hidden when the card is closed.  Stamp the other sentiment on the strip of white card. Make a diagonal cut at either end of the sentiment and then lay this on the black layer and trim the black to leave a small border.

Add glue to the inside edges of the smaller card and position so that it sticks to the front panel and the 4th panel and encloses the middle two (see picture/watch on the video). It needs to sit centrally on the card when it is closed and hide the sentiment on the inside.

Add the sentiment on the strip to the front of the card and add a ribbon. Sprinkle some jewels for some added bling.

I do hope that you like my card and will give it a try, thanks again Mary!
