Hi Everyone,
Today I made a cute little thank you card using the fabulous All Squared Away bundle, Colour & Contour stamp set and the Scalloped Contour dies. I wanted a bright and cheery card so I have used granny apple green and daffodil delight. Let me show you how I made it.
Materials
1 piece of thick basic white card 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of Brights dsp in daffodil delight 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Scraps of basic white for stamping and die cuts
Scraps of granny apple green and daffodil delight card
Granny apple green ink
All Squared Away stamp set
Floral Square dies
Scalloped Contour dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine
Color & Contour stamp set
Basic rhinestones
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Paper snips
Instructions
On the long side score the thick basic white at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Stamp a sentiment on the inside and then add the dsp layer to the card front.
Stamp three of the square patterns in granny apple green on the scraps of white card and cut them out with your snips.
Die cut three of the floral squares in white and cut the flowers again in daffodil delight. Adhere the squares onto the stamped pattern squares and then add the individual flowers over the top in the daffodil delight. Adhere these in a line across the card front leaving a tiny border in between and at the sides (it will just fit).
Cut a 1/4" strip of granny apple green card to fit the front and adhere below the floral images.
Stamp a sentiment in granny apple green ink and die cut with the smallest scalloped rectangle and add to the card front with dimensional over the strip of granny apple green.
Add some rhinestones for a bit of bling and your card is complete. I've chosen very bright colours for mine but it would look just as pretty in any colour combination, why don't you give it a try?
