Perfectly Pencilled Tunnel Fold Card - Stampin' Birds Fun Fold Friday

 Hi Everyone,

It's another Fun Fold Friday for the Stampin' Birds and this time I have made a Tunnel Fold card that my crafty friend Donna showed us how to make at the Team Retreat recently. I really don't know how I have never made one of these before because it was much easier than I thought. The measurements are all Donna's and I have used the Perfectly Pencilled dsp, Pansy Patch stamp set and my favourite melon mambo card stock. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of thick white card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of melon mambo card 8" x 5 1/2", 1 piece 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of basic white card 3 1/2" square
2 pieces of dsp 1 7/8" x 5 3/8", 1 piece 3 5/8" x 5 3/8", scrap for fussy cutting
Pansy Patch stamp set
Memento Black ink
Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends
Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends
Layering Circle dies
Paper Snips
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Trimmer
Glossy Dots
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

Set the thick white card to one side for the moment DO NOT SCORE.

Score the melon mambo card on the long side at 2", 4" and 6" and fold and burnish (valley, mountain, valley).

Die cut a 3" circle from the centre of the melon mambo card and then cut the next side smaller from the centre of the 3 1/2" square of white card.

Put the circles to one side for now and then adhere the square of white (with the hole in the centre) to the back of the circle aperture in the melon mambo card making sure there is an equal white border showing (see picture).

Add the dsp to the two outer panels of the melon mambo piece and then lay this on top of the thick white card (DON'T STICK YET) and stamp a sentiment through the aperture onto the white card.

Now fold the thick white card in half at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish.  Adhere the melon mambo layer to the inside of the card putting adhesive only on the two end panels.

Add the melon mambo mat and dsp layer to the front of the card.

Stamp a sentiment on the white circle and decorate with a small flower which you have fussy cut and coloured from the dsp. Layer this on to the melon mambo circle and add to the card front using dimensionals.  Add some Glossy Dots.

I hope that you like my card (thanks Donna xx), please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made this week.
