Hi Everyone,
Another challenge for the Birds, a colour challenge from Victoria's Creative Colour Challenge #36 - Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Mossy Meadow (I don't have Mossy Meadow so have used Old Olive in its place). I've made a wedding card using the lovely Artistically Inked stamp set and fussy cut the leaves and flowers. Let me show you how I made it.
Materials
1 piece of petal pink card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scrap for the sentiment
2 pieces of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scrap for the sentiment and stamped flowers and leaves

Old olive ink

Instructions
On the long side score the petal pink at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Randomly stamp the long splodge (technical term, haha, not sure what it's called), all over a piece of basic white using the petal pink ink. Adhere this layer to the card front.
Stamp 4 flowers in balmy blue and several sets of leaves in old olive (I have stamped off to make them paler). Fussy cut these images. Arrange the flowers on the card front using dimensionals and then tuck in the leaves around them.
Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and then punch out and layer up with the pink scalloped one. Add to the top right hand corner of the card front using dimensionals.
Make a bow with the elegant gold trim and add to the sentiment.
Stamp a sentiment on the remaining white card and decorate with more splodges and adhere to the inside of the card.
Add some gilded gems to the centre of the flowers and one to the sentiment and the card is complete, I hope that you like it. Why don't you check out Victoria's page and have a go, a different set of colours every week.
