Hi Everyone,
Today's card is one that I made for a Catalogue Launch Event with Crafty Collaborations. I've used the Happiness Abounds stamp set and the In-Colour designer series paper stack in Orchard Oasis. The card is a tone on tone, layered card showing off how fabulous the Stampin' Up colour coordination is, the colour is the same in the ink, the card and the dsp, so easy to make pretty cards. There is a video tutorial for this card that I made for the event, click on the link below:
Materials
1 piece of orchard oasis card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 3 1/4" x 4", scrap for sentiment 3/4" x 3 1/4"

Instructions
On the long side score the card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a card base.
Adhere the dsp layer to the card front.
Stamp a design on the smaller piece of basic white and then adhere to the remaining piece of coloured card stock. Add to the card front using dimensionals.
Stamp a sentiment on the 1/2" strip of white and also on the remaining piece of white card for the inside, I've also added a couple of flowers too.
Add the white layer to the inside of the card and add the 1/2" strip of dsp across the top to add a bit more decoration.
Angle cut the two ends of the sentiment strip and adhere this to the 3/4" coloured strip and then angle cut that to match (see picture). Add this on dimensionals across the centre of the stamped image (see picture).
Tie a bow using two strands of twine and add with a mini glue dot to the edge of the sentiment. Add a few glossy dots (or whatever you have) and the card is finished.
Here's another one I made in Tahitian Tide and a close up to show how the colours are the same and match beautifully. Stampin' Up are really good at this, they take all the guess work out of it for you.
