Dahlia Days - Perfectly Pencilled - CASE a Demo - Share it on a Sunday

 Hi Everyone,

This time for Share it on a Sunday we are CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit/Copy And Share Everywhere) a fellow Demonstrator. I have chosen the lovely Dena Rekow (The Creativity Cave), a US Demo whose YouTube channel I often watch for inspiration (as well as a few laughs).  This is the card that she made that inspired the layout for my card.

Materials

1 piece of basic black card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 4 1/4" x 3", 1 piece 2 1/4" x 2 3/4"
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 2" x 2 1/2"
1 piece of Tahitian Tide card 4" x 2 3/4"
1 piece of Perfectly Pencilled dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Dahlia Days stamp set
Tahitian Tide ink
Tahitian Tide In Colour Glitter Ribbon
Gingham Embossing Folder
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Multipurpose Adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini Glue Dot
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Basic Rhinestones
Take Your Pick Tool
Bone Folder

Instructions

On the long side score the black card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the dsp to the card front.

Emboss the Tahitian Tide layer and then adhere to the black mat layer. Wrap the ribbon around this layer and tie in a bow, secure the knot with a mini glue dot  and add to the card front with dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment on the small white layer and then randomly stamp stamp flowers around it. Adhere this to the black mat layer and add to the card front using dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment and some flowers on the remaining white layer and add to the inside of the card.

I hope that you like my take on Dena's layout.  Please click the links below to see what Donna and Victoria have made.
