It's a Sketch Challenge today, I love these, great for using up scraps or getting your crafty mojo going and giving you some inspiration. I have taken the opportunity to use the Sunshine and Rainbows dsp and teamed it with the Biggest Wish stamp set. The sketch below is the one we are using this time.
Materials
1 piece of misty moonlight card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scrap for the sentiment
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 3" x 4", 1/2" x 3 7/8" strip, fussy cut rainbow
1 piece of pool party card 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
Scrap of soft succulent ribbon
Double Oval Punch
Biggest Wish stamp set
Memento Black ink
Paper snips
Trimmer
Bone folder
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive
Instructions
On the long side score the misty moonlight card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Wrap the ribbon around the largest piece of dsp and secure on the back with sticky tape and then add this layer to the card front.
Add the smaller piece of dsp to the pool party mat and add with dimensionals to the card front, over the top of the ribbon.
Fussy cut a rainbow and add to the bottom right of the card with dimensionals.
Stamp a sentiment and punch out with the oval punch and add to the card front on dimensionals.
Add the remaining basic white layer to the inside of the card, I've added a 1/2" strip of dsp along the bottom to decorate the inside.
Why don't you give it a try, you don't have to use the same dsp, use anything you like, see what you come up with. If you need more inspiration, pop over and see what everyone else has made.

It's a sketch challenge for the hop today and I am using the beautiful Abstract Beauty designer series paper and the Beautiful Shape dies. I love sketch challenges, such a great way of getting the inspiration flowing and giving your crafty mojo a boost if needed. this layout works in any colour, with any papers and stamp sets. Give it a try.
Materials
1 piece of thick basic white card 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of 4" x 6" dsp
Scraps of vellum, magenta madness and gold foil card
Elegant Trim
Colour and Contour stamp set
Memento Black ink
Magenta Madness ink
Gilded Gems
Beautiful Shapes dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Bough Punch
Trimmer
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini glue dots
Instructions
On the long side score the thick white card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish.
Cut the dsp into 3 pieces, 2 pieces 1 1/4" x 3 7/8", 1 piece 2 3/4" x 3 7/8" and adhere to the card front leaving equal borders all around.
Die cut 2nd largest hexagon in vellum and the next size down in magenta card. Add the vellum one to the card using dimensionals in the centre so they won't be seen when you lay the card piece on the top. Stamp the sentiment in black ink on the magenta card and then add to the vellum layer with dimensionals. Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card using Magenta Madness ink.
Punch out two of the leaf boughs in gold foil and tuck under the vellum layer and adhere with glue. Add some gilded gems and a tiny bow made from the Elegant Trim.
Please pop over and see what everyone else had made today.

I'm hopping with my lovely Stampin' Birds team mates today and we are showcasing projects that we have been working on. I've been playing with the fabulous New Horizons designer series paper which speaks for itself and needs very little else. A brilliant set of papers for the new crafter with little experience, you can make beautiful cards very easily. Let me show you how.
Materials
1 piece of coloured card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" or 4 1/8" x 11 1/2" (bookbinder card)
1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" or 3 7/8" x 4 5/8" (bookbinder card)
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Ink to coordinate (blackberry bliss, misty moonlight, evening evergreen)
Quiet Meadow stamp set
Happiest of Birthdays stamp set
Prized Peony stamp set
Wildflower Path stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Instructions
For the three top folding cards, score the coloured card on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Stamp a sentiment on the designer series paper in a colour to match the card base and then adhere this layer to the card front. Add the remaining piece of basic white to the inside and the card is complete.
For the bookbinder card, on the long side score the coloured card at 5 3/4" and 6 3/4" and fold the card in half along the 5 3/4" score line. Then fold the other score line back on itself. This 1" section forms the book fold and needs to be adhered to the inside of the card so you have a 1" piece at the fold which is adhered together and then the shorter piece opens up like a book.
To decorate the front of this card you need to cut down the 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" piece to fit so you will have 1 piece that is 7/8" wide and 1 piece 4 5/8". Adhere the smaller piece to the spine and the other to the card front and finish off as with the others with a piece of white card on the inside.
You can also stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card too if you like, I have with the two sympathy/thinking of you cards but not with the birthday cards.
