Hi Everyone,
Today I am hopping with the lovely InspireINK group and the theme is 'Purple'. Now, Gez Carpenter chose the theme and purple is her favourite colour, so I thought I would make a card full of purple pansies (she thinks they look like Ewoks haha). Let me show you how I made it.
Materials
1 piece of blackberry bliss card stock 4 1/4" x 9 3/8", 1 piece 3 1/4" x 8 1/2"
2 pieces of basic white card 2 7/8" x 4", , 1 piece 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
1 piece of dsp 4" x 6", 3 pieces 2 7/8" x 4" (New Horizons)
5 large pansies, 2 small pansies, 2 leaves from the Pansy Petals dsp
Gorgeous Grape ink
Pansy Patch stamp set
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Gingham Embossing Folder
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions
On the long side score the largest piece of blackberry bliss at 6 1/4" and the smaller on at 4 1/4" and fold and burnish to make the two card bases.
Run the largest piece of dsp through the machine in the Gingham Embossing Folder and then adhere to the inside of the larger card. Then add the two of the 3 matching pieces to the front and back of the flap.
Remember that the smaller one opens the opposite way and add the remaining dsp to the front flap of that card.
Adhere the smaller card to the larger one positioning it so that it opens the opposite way and sits centrally on the card (see finished card). 
Stamp a sentiment on one of the pieces of white card and then adhere in the smaller card, add the remaining piece of white to the reverse of the small card front. Adhere one of the large pansies on this piece.
Die cut/fussy cut a selection of leaves and flowers from the Pansy Petals dsp.
Die cut the stitched rectangle that almost fills the front of the smaller card in white card and stamp the sentiment, in Gorgeous Grape ink in the top right hand corner.
Arrange 3 large pansies across the bottom of the white mat and add the 2 leaves (I've used dimensionals for the flowers). Tuck in the 2 small ones above as shown.
Add dimensionals to the back of the remaining pansy, just on the left side as it sits on the card and add to the side of the card so that it overlaps the front of the smaller card and keeps it closed (it's effectively a tuck point).
I really like how this card has turned out but I wish that I had embossed all of the dsp layers instead of just the largest one but never mind.
