Hi Everyone,
I'm hopping with the Touches of Ink group today and I have chosen to use the Quiet Meadow bundle. It's one I haven't used for a while but it's ideal for sending a card to tell someone you are thinking of them. I thought I would use misty moonlight for a monochrome look too as I've been using lots of bright colours lately, thought I would tone it down - for today anyway haha!
Materials
1 piece of misty moonlight card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scraps for die cuts
2 pieces of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scrap for the sentiment
Scrap of silver foil
Misty moonlight ink
Quiet Meadow stamp set
Meadow dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Mini glue dots
Basic rhinestones
Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack
Instructions
On the long side score the card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Stamp the splatter randomly all over one piece of basic white (I've used 1st and 2nd generation stamping). Stamp a sentiment on the remaining piece of basic white and also on the scrap for the front.
Die cut the label round the stamped sentiment and two sprigs in misty moonlight and one in silver foil as well as both of the butterflies in blue.
Thread the ribbon through the sentiment label and wrap around the mat layer for the card front and secure on the back with sticky tape. Adhere this layer to the card front.
Add the two springs and the silver foil leaves to the card front, I have trimmed off a couple of the leaves as I didn't want them covering too much of the blue sprigs. Make sure that the ends don't stick out below the sentiment label. Add a couple of glue dots to keep the
sentiment in place. Add the butterflies and add some rhinestones to them.
Another quick and easy card.
