Hi Everyone,
Today, the three of us are using the same products to make 2 projects - Expressions in Ink designer series paper and the Shaded Summer stamp set. Donna set the challenge in honour of all three of us having our anniversary in February of joining Stampin’ Up and becoming friends. One must be a 3D one so I have made a gift box with a matching card for a birthday. Let me show you how I made them:

Instructions
Card
On the long side score the cardstock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a card base.
Run the mat layer through the machine in the Gingham Embossing Folder and add to the card front.
Add the dsp layer at an angle on the card front.
Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of white and punch out with the straight edged heart punch and layer up on a pear pizzazz heart with the scalloped edge. Add some gold twine to the back of this heart and keep in place using dimensionals and then add to the card front as in the picture.
Stamp a sentiment on the remaining basic white and some leaf sprigs up both sides and then add to the inside of the card.
Box
On the long side score the card stock at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2", 6", 7 1/2" and 9".
Make a mark along the same edge at 3/4", 2 1/4", 3 3/4", 5 1/4", 6 3/4" and 8 1/4".
Rotate clockwise and score at 2 5/8" and 5 3/8".
Score diagonal lines from the left hand corner of the top squares up to the tick marks made at the mid point of each one (see picture).
Fold and burnish all the score lines and then cut up the bottom score lines to make the flaps for the bottom, remove the lower tab (see picture).
Round off the top of each of the square sections (see picture) with the detailed trio punch.
Flip the whole thing over and add adhesive to the outside of the narrow tabs and then fold over and bring the other side over on top to seal the box.
Bring the bottom flap sections over one at a time, add adhesive to the centre of them and then fold the opposite one over on top of it and then move on to the next pair and repeat twice more to seal up the bottom of the box.
The top section folds in on itself, push each section down in turn as you go round the top and they should all fall into place.
Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of basic white and punch out with the heart punch the same as for the card, add the pear pizzazz layer and the gold twine in the same way. Add the front of the box with dimensionals.
I hope that you like my matching set. Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too.
