Pierced Blooms Colour Challenge Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a card for this challenge on Creative Colour Challenges blog. It's not a combination I would have thought to put together but it's good to get pushed out of your comfort zone sometimes and I think this actually worked quite well in the end.  Pop over to Victoria's blog (address above) and join in her weekly challenges.

Materials

1 piece of thick basic white card 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of cherry cobbler 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"
1 piece of blackberry bliss card 5" x 3 1/2"
1 piece of flirty flamingo card 4 3/4" x 3 1/4"
1 piece of basic white card 4 1/2" x 3"
Scraps of all colours for die cuts
Pierced Bloom dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Shaded Summer stamp set
Blackberry Bliss ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply scored

Instructions

On the long side score the thick basic white at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the coloured mat layers to the card front.

Die cut a selection of flowers from the scraps and arrange on the basic white layer, when you are happy with the arrangement, stamp the sentiment in the top right corner, then adhere the flowers into place.

Stamp another sentiment on the inside of the card and adhere a couple of flowers to complete the card.

This has been a really quick and easy card that you could make for lots of occasions, in many different colour combinations, go on, give it a go.
