Multipurpose adhesive
Tear n Tape/Red Line tape
Scraps of dsp to fussy cut the animals

Instructions

All of the boxes are made in the same way and cut in the same way except for the tray which is slightly different. Fold and burnish all of the score lines on all your pieces and then cut them as in the pictures below and add the corresponding dsp pieces.

The tray is slightly different

When you have made all the boxes, fit them into the tray and decorate them. I have added the creatures around the outsides of the whole thing to make it look like they are peeking, or playing

Then fill it with pens, pencils, crayons etc. Mine is sitting on my table waiting for my grandaughter to visit and then she can take it away and put it on her new desk in her newly decorated bedroom, I'm sure she will love it.

You could use any combination of colours and papers to decorate your own to match your room, you could parcel them up to sell at craft fairs, gift them to work colleagues or use as teacher gifts.

Thanks for the inspiration Sam Hammond Donald, check out Pootles, she has lots of tutorials on making pretty boxes.
