Hi Everyone,
Today I am video hopping with the Stamp Around UK Group and the theme for April is 'Metallic'. I have combined two of my favourite stamp sets with two of my favourite sets of dies to make this beautiful sympathy card is silver and night of navy. Let me show you how I made it. Instructions
On the long side score the night of navy card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a card base.
Die cut the largest of the stitched scalloped rectangle dies in night of navy and the word 'sympathy' in silver foil.
Stamp the large floral image using Versamark in the centre of the stitched rectangle and then sprinkle with silver embossing powder and heat set.
Add this to the silver mat layer using dimensionals and add to the card front towards the top.
Adhere the word beneath the decorated panel - I have used glue but you could die cut using an adhesive sheet - I always forget!!
On the white mat layer for the inside, I have stamped a sentiment in night of navy from the Prized peony set and also another floral image from the Flowering Blooms. Adhere in place inside the card.
There you are, a very simple but stylish sympathy card using lots of silver, I hope that you like it and will give it a try - it doesn't need to be a sympathy card, change the sentiments and make it for any occasion.
