Hi Everyone,
Today's card is for the Stamp n Hop Blop Hop and the theme is 'Anything Goes' so a bit of a free for all today, I expect there will be lots of different and exciting ideas and loads of inspiration.
My inspiration this month is to use up some of my retiring designer series papers and to bring out a stamp set that I haven't used for a little while but which will retire when the new Annual Catalogue launches in May 2021. I decided to make a fun fold card, let me show you how I made it.
Materials
1 piece of thick basic white 5 3/4" x 11 1/2"
2 pieces of dsp 1 1/4" x 5 1/2", 2 pieces 1 3/4" x 5 1/2", 1 piece 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" and 1 piece 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Scraps of Love You Always Rococo Rose Foil Sheet and basic white for the squares
Scraps of dsp for the flowers
Small Bloom punch
Basic pearls
So Sentimental stamp set
Rococo Rose ink
Layering square dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Instructions
With the long side of the card butted up to the top of the scoreboard, score at 3 1/2", then flip the card over and score at 1 1/2" and 7". Fold and burnish the score lines according to the way that they have been scored (fold with the bump to the inside).
Arrange the dsp on the layers leaving equal borders all around the edges. Adhere the layers in place. Keep the piece next to the largest on the inside piece free of dsp in order to write your message.
Die cut a 3" square in the foil card and a 2 1/2" square in basic white.
Stamp the sentiment on the basic white square using rococo rose ink and add to the foil layer using dimensionals.
punch out 4 flowers with the small bloom punch from scraps of the dsp, shape in the palm of your hand and add to the corners of the sentiment layer. Add pearls for decoration. Add to the card front either with glue or dimensionals (I have used glue).
A quick and easy fun fold card, I hope that you like it and will give it a try.
Please hop over and see what my colleagues have created too, you are sure to be inspired.
