Peony Garden Daisy Lane Congratulations Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a Congratulations card using the lovely Daisy Lane stamp set and the peony Garden designer series papers.  I think it's pretty enough to be used for a wedding card too.  I'm on a mission to get my papers used up before they retire, I've also used a few punches and dies cuts and lots of pretty pearls. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of petal pink card stock 5 3/4" x 11 1/2" and a 1/2" scrap for the sentiment.
1 piece of designer series paper 4 1/2" square
1 piece of basic white card stock 5 1/2" square
Scraps of co-ordinating papers from the Peony Garden Suite
Scraps of silver foil for the leaves
Forever Flourishing dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Medium Daisy Punch
Small Bloom Punch
Confetti Flowers Border Punch
Detailed Trio Punch
Lovely Labels Pick a Punch
Basic grey ink
Petal pink ink
Pastel pearls
Basic pearls
Art Gallery stamp set
Daisy Lane stamp set
Mini glue dots
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Bone folder
Simply scored
White bakers twine

Instructions

On the long side, score the petal pink card at 5 3/4" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Round all four corners on the large piece of designer series paper and wrap some twine around it three times and tie with a bow.

Stamp the medium daisy all over the front of the card in petal pink ink.

Adhere the designer series paper with the twine to the centre of the card front.

Die cute some of the leaf sprigs from the Forever Flourishing dies in silver foil.

Punch out 6 medium daisies from petal pink dsp,4 flowers in grey with the small bloom punch and several petal pink ones with the confetti flower punch, at least enough to use for the centres of the small flowers but you could add more if you want.

Curl the petals on the daises, some going up and some going down with the bone folder.  Adhere three sets of petals together for each flower.

Arrange the large flowers and leaves on to the card front in the bottom left corner of the dsp square and adhere them in place.  Add the small flowers, some on dimensionals, some glued straight down around them.  Add the tiny flowers to the centre of the small flowers and then add pearls as flower centres to all the flowers. Add more pearls to the square dsp layer too.

Stamp the sentiment on the 1/2" strip of petal pink and punch both ends with the labels punch and adhere to the card front, tucking one end in under the flowers.

Add the remaining white card layer to the inside of the card and decorate if required and add a sentiment.

I hope that you like my pretty card and will give it a try.
