Pretty Perennials Love You Always - Crafty Collaborations Sketch Challenge

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a card following a sketch challenge for the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop.  I'm still on a mission to use up my designer series papers and give retiring stamp sets as many airings as I can.  With that in mind, I have used the Love You Always dsp and foil and the Pretty Perennials bundle.  I wanted to use the Sahara Sand dsp and foil but didn't want to use a shade of brown to go with it, so I had a look at the Colour Coach to see what colours it recommended to go with Sahara Sand, and Merry Merlot was one of them, so that's what I have used.  Let me show you what I did:

1 piece of merry merlot card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" for the inside and scraps for the stamping
1 piece of All My Love dsp 2 1/2" x 5 3/4"
Scraps of sahara sand foil paper
Merry Merlot ink
2 1/4" circle punch
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Pretty Perennial stamp set
Perennial Petals dies
Memento Black ink
Basic pearls
Multipurpose adhesive
Simply Scored
Bone folder
Paper snips

This is the sketch challenge I am following.

On the long side, score the merry merlot card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Add the dsp strip to the left hand side of the card front leaving a small border on three sides.

Punch out a 2 1/4" circle of the foil and adhere over the edge of the dsp towards the top (see picture).

Stamp the large and medium flower and the words in merry merlot ink.

Die cut the stamped flowers.

Die cut some of the leaves in sahara sand foil and then snip them away from the stems to leave just the leaves.

Fussy cut the words using the paper snips.  Add dimensionals to the back and adhere the large word at an angle across the foil circle.

Add the flowers on dimensionals beneath the start of the word as shown and tuck in a couple of the leaves underneath them.

Add the word birthday towards the bottom of the circle and then add 3 pearls under the circle.

Stamp a design and a sentiment on the remaining basic white if required and adhere to the inside of the card.
