Pansy Petals Gift Bag

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a quick and easy gift bag for a Team Challenge in the Stampin' Birds Group using some of the lovely new products in the upcoming Annual Catalogue which will be available to customers from 4th May 2021. Let me show you how to make it.

Materials

1 piece of Pansy Petals dsp 6" x 12"
Scrap of basic white for stamping and die cutting
1 library clip
Pierced Bloom dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Pansy Patch stamp set
Pale papaya ink
Pumpkin pie ink
Soft succulent ink
Evening evergreen ink
2021 In Colour jewels
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

On the long side score at, 1 7/8", 5 7/8", 7 3/4" and 11 3/4"  and then turn 90 degrees and score at 1 7/8" and then fold and burnish all the score lines.

Cut up from the bottom to the horizontal score line to release all the tabs and remove the small skinny rectangle at the end.

Add adhesive to the long tab above the one you have just removed and join the two sides of the bag together.  Stand the bag on its end and fold the two side flaps in and then the back one and add adhesive to the front one and secure to make the bag.  Pinch in the sides at the top to close and add the library clip to keep it closed.

Stamp the sentiment and the flowers and leaves on the scrap of basic white.  The images from the Pansy Patch set are two step stamping but really easy to line up. I have stamped the lighter colour first and then used the darker colour for the contrast over the top.

Die cut the flowers, leaves and sentiment (I have used the label from Pierced Blooms for mine but you could use any die or punch that you have in your stash).

Add dimensionals to the sentiment label and adhere to the centre of the bag and arrange the flower and leaves at the side, overlapping the sentiment label.  Add a jewel to the centre of the flower and job done.

A quick and easy project, great for craft fairs and gifts to fill with small treats
