Instructions

Each tag is 4 1/2" long so you need to cut a whisper white layer to write your message and a
layer to add your flower to.  On some I have a vellum layer as well, it just depends what look you are going for.

Punch the top of all of the layers with the delightful tag topper punch.

Some of the flowers I have die cut and embossed directly from foil card, this is so simple to do, the embossed layer fits just inside the cut out and you run them through your die cutting machine together and you get beautiful, realistic looking petals and leaves. I think the holly leaves look amazing in the copper foil version.

Some I have stamped in real red ink and then die cut.

Some I have heat embossed on card stock in silver and gold.  Just stamp with Versamark and then sprinkle with your chosen powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.

Some I have heat embossed on vellum, I tried white embossing powder and on the copper one I tried some holographic embossing powder from my stash.

So choose what effect you want and make a set of flower petals, a couple of holly leaves and a couple of berry twigs for each tag.

Adhere the sets of flower petals together, offsetting the petals on each layer, then add two holly leaves and two sprigs of berries to the back. On these three, I have adhered them to the foil layer with dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment on a scrap of whisper white in real red ink and punched out with the Classic Label punch.

On this one I have stamped the sentiment on the whisper white tag and there is no foil tag, this one is only two layers.

On this one there are three layers and I have stamped on the whisper white one.

On this one I have used the holographic powder on vellum with a dimensional between each layer of petals and the leaves and berries are in copper foil. On this one I have adhered the vellum layer to the copper foil layer and added a whisper white one for the message. I haven't stamped on this one because I don't have any copper ink or powder but I think this one is my favourite.

Add a piece of ribbon to the tag and there you are, a pretty Christmas Poinsettia Gift Tag, I wonder how many you will make, I would love to see your versions.
