Brightly Gleaming Hand Cream Gift Box

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am making a gift box with the lovely Brightly Gleaming dsp and the Gift Wrapped Stamp Set and Punch to fit a 50ml tube of Hand Cream. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of night of navy card stock 5 1/2" x 8", 1 piece 5 9/16" x 8 1/16"
1 piece of copper foil 2 1/4" x 4 3/4"
1 piece of dsp 2" x 4 1/2"
Scraps of very vanilla
Rectangle Postage Stamp punch
Gift Bow Builder punch
1" circle punch
Gift Wrapped stamp set
Night of navy ink
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Mini Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side of the slightly larger piece score at 1 1/2" and 6 1/2" then turn on the short side and score at 1 1/2" and 4" (this is the lid). Repeat the scoring on the other piece (this is the base).

Cut up the vertical scorelines to the horizontal score on all four corners to make tabs and notch the tabs.

Add adhesive to the outside of the tabs and bring the folded edge to meet the cut edge and fix in place. Repeat this on both pieces, you now have the box and a lid.  On the lid piece you can punch out half circles on the side edges to help when opening the box if you want to.

Add the copper foil mat to the centre top of the lid and then add the dsp leaving a border all the way around.

On a scrap of very vanilla, stamp a bow and the sentiment and then punch out the bow with the bow builder punch and the sentiment with the postage punch.  Adhere the sentiment at an angle of the top of the box and then fix the bow with mini dimensionals to one corner of the sentiment layer.

There you are a quick and easy gift box to gift some lovely hand cream.  I hope that you like it and will give it a try.
