Tasteful Touches Get Well Card

Hi Everyone,

Today's card is a quick one just using paper, ink and stamps with a bit of masking. I was watching a fellow UK Demonstrator (Julie Kettlewell) and really liked the card that she made so I have used hers as the inspiraton for mine, I hope that you like it and will give it a try.

Materials

1 piece of soft suede card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and a 2" circle
2 pieces of very vanilla card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a 1 1/2" circle
Crumb cake ink
Tasteful Touches stamp set
Gorgeous Posies stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
2" circle punch
1 1/2" circle punch
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder

Instructions

On the long side, score the soft suede piece at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Stamp a leaf flourish from Tasteful Touches in the corner of one of the very vanilla pieces of card and adhere to the inside of the card.

On the other piece, stamp the images along the left hand edge. I have used the large flower image and started at the bottom with a full strength image, then stamped off the next one, then full strength etc all the way to the top.  Mask each flower before you stamp the next one in the line by stamping the image on a post it note and fussy cutting it, then lay it over the image you want to stamp next to.  If you stamp on one post it note and then cut through two layers, you get two masks which will be helpful when stamping the leaves as they are in between the flowers. Follow in the same way with the leaf flourish, one full strength, one stamped off all the way up.  When you are happy with the design, adhere this piece to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of very vanilla and then punch out with the 1 1/2" circle punch and layer up on the 2" soft suede circle and add to the front of the card using dimensionals.

There you go, a quick and easy card, give it a try. Julie used Night of Navy, I have used Crumb Cake, try your favourite colour and see how it turns out.
