Share it on a Sunday - CASE a Bird

 Hi Everyone,

Today for Share it on a Sunday, we are CASEing each other (copy and share everything) and it's my turn to CASE Victoria.  Victoria loves to colour and it's not something I enjoy so I thought I would pick one of her cards (June 2020) that she has coloured (much better than me, I have to say) and have a go. Because I don't like to colour, I don't have any Blends (shock I know!) so I have used a Blender Pen and ink to colour mine.  Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too, the links are at the bottom of my blog.

Materials

1 piece of flirty flamingo card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and two 1/8" strips
2 pieces of whisper white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Posted for You stamp set
Memento Black ink
Flirty flamingo ink
Gorgeous Grape ink
Old olive ink
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Blender Pen
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Score the flirty flamingo card stock at 4 1/8" on the long side and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Mask off a section of one of the pieces of whisper white as shown in the picture, I have used Post it Notes.

Stamp your design in the section between the rows of post it notes.

Colour in the design using the blender pen and inks or Stampin Blends if you have them.

Carefully remove the mask and then adhere the 1/8" strips on either side of the stamping as shown in the picture and trim off any excess.

Stamp the sentiment in the top right hand corner using flirty flamingo ink and stamp a sentiment on the layer for the inside if required.

Adhere the inside layer on the inside of the card and the stamped layer on the card front leaving a small border all around the edges.
