Luxury Gift Tags with Brightly Gleaming and Gift Wrapped

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am taking part in the InspireINK Blog Hop and the theme is '3D project', so I have made a set of 6 luxury gift tags in Night of Navy and Very Vanilla with pops of copper foil from the Brightly Gleaming designer series paper and a pretty box to put them in.  I hope that you like my project and don't forget to hop over and see what my crafty colleagues have made too.

Materials

1 piece of night of navy card stock 7" x 4 1/2" and 1 piece 7 1/16" x 4 9/16" for the box
6 pieces of 2" x 4" night of navy card stock
6 pieces of 2" x 4" very vanilla card stock, 6 pieces of 1 7/8" x 2 1/2", 1 piece 4 7/8" x 2 3/8"
Scraps of very vanilla for the bows
6 pieces of Brightly Gleaming dsp 3" x 1 7/8"
6 pieces of ribbon approx 6" long
Night of navy ink
Gift Wrapped stamp set
Bow Builder punch
Delightful Tag Topper punch
Detailed Trio punch
1" circle punch
Trimmer
Paper snips
Simply scored
Bone folder
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Score both large pieces of night of navy card stock at 1" on all 4 sides and fold and burnish to score lines.

Cut up the score line and make tabs at each corner as shown in the picture. On of the pieces in slightly larger than the other and this is the lid.

Repeat on the piece for the lid and punch out a half circle in the centre on each of the long sides to help to take the lid off the box.

Put adhesive on each of the tabs and fold to the inside of the box making sure that the fold meets the cut edge to make a nice neat finish on the box.  It helps when you do the lid if you fit it to the box and then fold the tabs in, this makes for a perfect fit around the base.

For each tag you need to punch one end of both the navy and the very vanilla layer with the delightful tag topper punch. Round the corners of the opposite ends with the detailed trio punch.

Round off the bottom corners on the dsp and then adhere it to the navy tag leaving a small border on the bottom and two sides (see pictures). Round off all four corners of the small piece of very vanilla and adhere it to the back of the night of navy layer to write your message.

Stamp a bow on a scrap of very vanilla using the night of navy ink and then punch out with the bow builder punch.  Place this on one of the very vanilla tags while you stamp the sentiment and the stars so you can judge where to do your stamping.

Add dimensionals to the bag of the bow and add to the very vanilla tag.

Thread a navy and a vanilla tag together with a piece of coordinating ribbon (this one is from my stash but you could use any ribbon or twine that you have to match).

Repeat for the other 5 tags.

Stamp on the remaining piece of very vanilla which will decorate the top of the box, stamp and punch out another bow to fix to this.  Adhere this layer to the centre of the lid and your box of luxury tags is complete.

I hope that you like this project and will give it a try.
