Arrange a Wreath - Favourite Season

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am taking part in the Stampin Dreams Blog Hop, the theme is 'Favourite Season' and mine is Christmas so I have chosen to use the Arrange a Wreath Bundle from the Annual Catalogue. Although it is a Christmas card, I have chosen to use non traditional colours for my card. Let me show you how I made it:

Materials

1 piece of thick whisper white 5 7/8" x 8 1/4”
1 piece of In Good taste dsp 4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of 4" x 4" bermuda bay card stock
1 piece of 4" x 5" silver foil
Scraps of whisper white and daffodil delight
Bermuda Bay ink
Scrap of daffodil delight ruched ribbon
Mini glue dots
Arrange a Wreath stamp set
Wreath Builder dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Stitched so Sweetly dies
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Score the thick whisper white at 4 1/8" on the long side and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the piece of dsp to the card front, I have used a brick patterned one for this card but have also made several using the wood and the hessian effect (see pictures below).

Die cut the berry wreath from the bermuda bay card stock and the leaf one from the silver foil.  Then die cut the smallest stitched rectangle in whisper white and the next size up in silver foil for the sentiment. Cut two of the poinsettia flowers in daffodil delight and cut the centres from silver foil.

Add wet glue to the back of the berry wreath, just little dots all around the circle and adhere to the top centre of the card front.

Using the edge pieces from the mini dimensionals, cut thin strips to add to several of the leaves on the leaf wreath and add over the top of the berry wreath.

Make a small bow with the scrap of ribbon and add to the top of the wreath with a mini glue dot.

Arrange the two flowers on the side of the wreath using glue dots and add the flower centres of silver foil using wet glue.

Stamp the sentiment with bermuda bay ink on the whisper white die cut rectangle and then add to the silver foil one and add to the card using dimensionals.  Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card and it's finished.

A very pretty Christmas card but this bundle can also be used for Easter, Valentines, spring, summer and autumn depending on the colours you use. Why don't you give it a try.
