Hi Everyone,
This week I've made a gift box for a pen using the Wildflower Path stamp set and Tahitian Tide ink and card stock. These make great little gifts for teachers, customers, team members and as swaps for team events. Let me show you how I made it, there are two versions, I made the prototype with card stock and dsp and this one I have stamped, you choose which you like best when you make your version.
Materials
1 piece of card stock 3" x 8"
4 pieces of dsp 5 7/8" x 1/2" (if making the dsp version)
Tahitian tide ink
Wildflower Path stamp set
Tahitian Tide ribbon
Scrap of basic white card
Double Oval Punch
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Paper Snips
Mini Glue Dots
Instructions
If you are making the stamped version, stamp your images all over the card stock before scoring.
On the short side, score at 5/8", 1 1/4", 1 7/8" and 2 1/2", then turn to the long side and score at 5/8" at one end, turn round to the other end and score at 5/8" and 1 1/4".
Add glue to the long tab and fold the other long side over to make up the box. Fold in the tabs at the bottom and glue in place. Fold in the tabs at the top and then slide the front tab in to close the top of the box.
Stamp a sentiment on the scrap of white card and punch out with the oval punch, punch a hole for the ribbon to go through. Thread the ribbon through the hole and then tie it around the box, finishing with a bow. I've added a mini glue dot to keep it in place.
