Hi Everyone,
This card is one that I made for a colour challenge with Stamp 'n' Hop and I decided to bring out the Subtles dsp and the Shaded Summer stamp set and see what I could do. I've used a Sketch Challenge as my inspiration, i find these very useful for getting your crafty mojo going again when you can't think what to make.
Materials
1 piece of thick basic white card 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of balmy blue card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 2 5/8" x 3 1/2"
1 piece of basic white card 2 3/8" x 3 1/4", 1 piece 1/2" x 2 1/4"
1 piece of Subtles dsp 3 3/8" x 3 3/4", 1 piece 1 5/8" x 3 3/4"
Basic Grey ink
Mango Melody ink
Shaded Summer stamp set
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Iridescent rhinestones
Instructions
This is the sketch that I followed for my card.
On the long side score the thick card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Add the balmy blue mat to the card front and then add the two pieces of dsp following the sketch image.
Stamp the large flower on the large piece of white card using the mango melody ink and then stamp a partial image on the inside of the card in the bottom right hand corner. Add the stamped image to the remaining balmy blue mat and add to the card front on dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in basic grey on the scrap of white and stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card as well. Add the sentiment to the card front on dimensionals.
Add some iridescent rhinestones to the flower centres and the sentiment and the card is complete.
