Sweet Talk Valentines Card - Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

The theme is Valentine's Day for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop and I have made a cute card using the lovely new Sweet Talk dsp and the Love and Happiness stamp set. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of highland heather card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scraps for decoration
1 piece of Sweet Talk dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scraps for the decoration
1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Pastel Pearls
Memento Black ink
Love and Happiness stamp set
Heart Punch Pack
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Mini Dimensionals
Multipurpose Adhesive
Bone Folder

Instructions

On the long side score the highland heather card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the dsp to the card front.

Punch out a heart from the dsp and a scalloped heart from the highland heather card and layer the two together.

Stamp the greeting on to a narrow strip of card and trim very closely to make the lollypop stick and adhere to the back of the hearts.  Add to the card front using mini dimensionals, use the edge pieces to cut narrow ones for the stick.

Add some pearls to the lollypop for decoration.

Stamp another greeting on the basic white card and add two more punched out hearts in the Sweet Talk dsp and adhere to the inside of the card.
