Stamping - Artistically Inked and Sunshine and Rainbows - Stamp Around UK Video Hop

 Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year, I hope that you had a fabulous Christmas and we can all look forward to a happy, healthy and safe 2022.

I made these two cards for the Stamp Around UK Video Hop where the theme was 'Stamping'. I've used a stamp set from the Annual Catalogue and some designer series paper which is FREE (with a qualifying purchase from any of the current catalogues) in the Saleabration brochure beginning on 4th January 2022. Let me show you how I made them, there is also a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, just click on the link below, you will also find links to all the other contributions in the description bar on the video:

Instructions

On the long side score the card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Using one of the pieces of basic white, stamp the long thin stamp all over it using the soft sea foam or the coastal cabana ink (depending on which version). Then using one of the border dies, cut this piece in half (I'm making these in sets of two as thank you cards for customers) so each sheet of dsp will make two cards and each of these stamped layers will make two.

Adhere the dsp to the card front and then stamp the sentiment (granny apple green or bermuda bay) in the bottom right hand corners of the die cut piece and lay over the join and matching the side edges (see picture).

Stamp two flowers (bumblebee or bermuda bay) and two sets of leaves (pear pizzazz or old olive) and fussy cut using your paper snips (or dies if you have them).  Layer up the flowers and leaves on the card front as shown.

On the remaining piece of basic white, stamp a sentiment (granny apple green or bermuda bay) and the large flower and then adhere to the inside of the card.

Sprinkle some embellishments on the card front (butterflies or rhinestones) and the card is complete. I do hope that you like it.
