Hi Everyone,
Today's card is for a Blog Hop with the Stamping With Friends group and it's a sketch challenge. You may have arrived at my Blog from the lovely Donna Lester and if so, welcome. I love sketch challenges, they are a great way of using up scraps or getting your crafty mojo going when you don't know what to make. I've used the pretty Hearts & Home designer series papers and the Forever Fern stamp set for my card. I hope that you like it.
Materials
1 piece of garden green card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 2 5/8" x 4 5/8", 1 piece 2 1/8" x 3 5/8"
1 piece of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scrap for the sentiment
1 piece of dsp 2 1/2" x 5 1/2", 1 piece 2 1/2" x 4 1/2", 1 piece 2" x 3 1/2", 1 1/2" circle
Garden green ink
Forever Fern stamp set
Layering Circle dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Brass Butterflies
Paper Snips
Instructions
On the long side score the garden green card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Add the largest dsp piece to the right hand side of the card front as shown in the sketch.
Add the other two pieces to their card stock mats and layer them up on the card front, the smallest one has dimensionals on the right hand side to level it up.
Die cut a 1 1/2" circle from the dsp, I've highlighted a bee and add to the card front on dimensionals as shown.
Stamp a sentiment on a strip of basic white and flag the ends with your paper snips, add to the card front using dimensionals.
Stamp some foliage in garden green down the right hand edge of the remaining basic white card and then adhere to the inside of the card.
Sprinkle some brass butterflies on the card front and the card is complete.
