Sweet Talk Double Z Fold - Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Crafty Collaborations Group and the theme is Valentine's Day. I decided to make a fun fold card with the lovely Sweet Talk designer series paper. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of highland heather card stock 4 1/4" x 11", 1 piece 2 3/4" x 10", scrap for the heart
1 piece of Sweet Talk dsp 5 1/4" x 4", 2 pieces 2 1/2" x 4", 1 piece 4 1/2" x 2 1/2", 1 piece 2 1/2" square
1 piece of basic white card 2 1/4" x 2 1/2", scrap for the sentiment
Love & Happiness stamp set
Highland Heather ink
Heart Punch Pack
Pastel Pearls
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose Adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the largest piece of highland heather at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2", the smaller at 4 3/4" and 7 1/2". Fold and burnish all the score lines to give you to Z folds.

Stamp a sentiment on the small piece of basic white using Highland Heather ink and adhere in place as shown in the picture.

Adhere all the dsp layers to their relevant spots on each of the cards.

Fold the larger card and then add glue to the back of the smallest piece of the smaller card, hover it over the top of the larger card until you have it centrally placed and then stick down. Then add glue to the back of the front piece of the smaller card and adhere in place.

Punch out a scalloped heart from highland heather card. Stamp the sentiment on a strip of basic white and trim it to leave a small border. Adhere this at an angle across the heart and add the heart to the card using dimensionals.  Add some pastel pearls and the card is finished.

I do hope that you like it, I love making fun fold cards.

Sweet Talk Valentines Card - Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

The theme is Valentine's Day for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop and I have made a cute card using the lovely new Sweet Talk dsp and the Love and Happiness stamp set. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of highland heather card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scraps for decoration
1 piece of Sweet Talk dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scraps for the decoration
1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Pastel Pearls
Memento Black ink
Love and Happiness stamp set
Heart Punch Pack
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Mini Dimensionals
Multipurpose Adhesive
Bone Folder

Instructions

On the long side score the highland heather card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the dsp to the card front.

Punch out a heart from the dsp and a scalloped heart from the highland heather card and layer the two together.

Stamp the greeting on to a narrow strip of card and trim very closely to make the lollypop stick and adhere to the back of the hearts.  Add to the card front using mini dimensionals, use the edge pieces to cut narrow ones for the stick.

Add some pearls to the lollypop for decoration.

Stamp another greeting on the basic white card and add two more punched out hearts in the Sweet Talk dsp and adhere to the inside of the card.
