Pretty Perennials Happy For You

Hi Everyone,

Today I have been playing with the Pretty Perennials stamp set and some lovely bright colours. I have been waiting for this stamp set to arrive and was really looking forward to playing and I wasn't disappointed.  There are matching dies too but I haven't tried them yet, I just wanted to do some #simplestamping.

Materials

1 piece of pacific point card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
2 pieces of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Scrap of pacific point and basic white for the rectangles
Pacific point, daffodil delight, melon mambo, bermuda bay and granny apple green inks
Pretty Perennials stamp set
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Memento Black ink
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the pacific point card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Stamp a random design on one of the pieces of basic white. When I get a new stamp set like this, I always just stamp so that I can see what they look like and how they fit together etc.  I start with the biggest image and then just go for it.  There is no wrong or right and if you don't like it, it doesn't matter, it's only a bit of card!!

Then I stamped a few flowers on the other piece of white for the inside and adhered it in place.

Die cut two stitched scalloped rectangles, the larger one in pacific point and the smaller one in white. Stamp the sentiment on the white layer with pacific point ink.

Adhere the pacific point rectangle in the centre of the card front at an angle and then add the white one over the top using dimensionals.

Such a pretty, bright, happy looking card, I think this one will become one of my favourites, give it a try, it's lovely.
