Hi Everyone,
For today's Share it on a Sunday, I chose a Tic Tac Toe board for us to work from and I chose - Flowers, Layers and Subtles. Let me show you how I made my card using Hydrangea Hill dsp and balmy blue and highland heather card stock. It's a fun fold card, I'm not sure of the name but it's like a portrait version of the Joy Fold Card.
Materials
1 piece of highland heather card stock 5 7/8" x 6 1/4", 1 piece 2 7/8" x 3 7/8"
1 piece of balmy blue card stock 4" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 2" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 6" x 4"
1 piece of basic white 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" and a scrap for the sentiment
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 1/2", 1 piece 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
1 piece of contrasting dsp 1 7/8" x 5 1/2"
1 piece of contrasting dsp 2 1/4" x 2"
Highland heather ink
Classic Label punch
Length of grey granite 1/4" ribbon (enough to wrap around the card and tie a bow)
Multipurpose adhesive
Art Gallery stamp set
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Instructions
On the long side score the highland heather card at 2" and fold and burnish to make the card base. On the long side, score the balmy blue card at 3" and fold and burnish to make the small card.
Adhere the balmy blue mat layers to the larger card and the highland heather mat to the front of the balmy blue card - remember that this one opens the opposite way. Add the basic white layer to the inside of the smaller card to write your message.
Adhere the dsp layers to the cards.
Adhere the smaller card to the back of the base card making sure that it is central and folds over the flap of the larger card nicely.
Now add the smallest dsp layer, on dimensionals to the top centre of the small card leaving room for the sentiment to go underneath.
Stamp a sentiment and punch it out with the classic label punch and the adhere to the small card front with mini dimensionals.
Tie the ribbon around the larger flap on the left and tie the bow at the top, leave longer tails.
I hope that you like my card and will give it a try, don't forget to pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too.
