Arrange a Wreath Oval Occasions - Colour Combo Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Colour Combo Group and you may have arrived here from Rebecca's blog, so welcome.  This month the colours are:- Pacific Point, Soft Sea Foam and Flirty Flamingo.  Let me show you how I made my card.

Materials

1 piece of thick basic white 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a scrap for the sentiment
Scraps of soft sea foam, flirty flamingo, basic white  and pacific point
Basic rhinestones
Pacific point ink
Wreath Builder dies
Small Bloom punch
Confetti Flower Border punch
Oval Occasions stamp set
Double Oval punch
3D Old World Paper embossing folder
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the thick white card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a portrait card base.

Run the basic white mat layer through the Stampin Cut and Emboss machine using the 3D embossing folder.  Then adhere this layer to the card front with dimensionals.

Die cut a wreath in soft sea foam and adhere to the embossed layer towards the top of the card.

Punch out 5 flowers with the small bloom punch using flirty flamingo card and several sets of tiny flower using the confetti punch with the pacific point and basic white card scraps.

Adhere the tiny white flowers to the centre of the flirty flamingo ones as the flower centres.

Arrange the flowers around the wreath in a configuration that you like, I have used mini dimensionals for the larger flowers.  Adhere the tiny flowers with glue and decorate the centres of the flowers with rhinestones.

Punch out two ovals, one in pacific point and one in white and stamp a sentiment on the white one.  Layer the two together and then add to the card front on dimensionals.  I have punched out a tiny pink flower and added that with some bling too.

I hope that you like my card and will give it a try.  Please hop along to the other projects and see what everyone else has made, you are sure to get lots of inspiration, Sigrid is next, please click on the link below.
