Snailed It Card - Ink Stamp Share Showcase Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Group and as it's a Showcase, we can share anything that we are working on at the moment.  I've just got this new Snailed It stamp set and dies so I thought I would practice my colouring with Stampin Blends.

Materials

1 piece of basic grey card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and a scrap for the envelope die cut
1 piece of blushing bride card stock 4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and scraps for the die cuts
1 piece of Snail Mail dsp 3 3/4" x 5 3/8"
Snailed It stamp set
Snail dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay and
Smoky Slate Stampin Blends
Real Red ink
Basic Grey ink
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder
Mini glue dots
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

On the long side score the basic grey card stock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a card base.

Add the blushing bride and dsp layers to the card front leaving equal borders all around them.

Stamp the snail on a scrap of basic white and colour in the image then stamp the sentiment just above his eyes.

Die cut this image with the postage stamp die and also die cut the letter to go inside the envelope and the envelope from the grey card stock.

Make up the mini envelope by folding on all the score lines and secure the flaps with a glue dot leaving the flap open.  Stamp the heart on the little letter and add to the inside of the envelope with a glue dot.

Adhere the image at an angle on the card front and then add the envelope too.

Stamp the mushroom image on the remaining white card and colour in with the blends and then adhere to the inside of the card.

These snails make really cute cards for any age, why don't you give it a try.
